Fashion Interior : Graphic Geometrics

Fashion and home decor trends go hand-in-hand, whatever is popular on the runway will quickly become popular in home decor. The Spring 2013 runways were packed with style, from white-on-white (right on trend with our past Fashion Interior post) to prints, prints, and more prints! My favorite print trend that easily transfers to home decor is graphic geometric patterns.

Geometric patterns pack a punch and can create a ‘wow’ space if paired with the right home decor accents. Here I have taken inspiration from the fashion runways for Spring 2013 and pulled two art pieces, creating A. warm colour scheme and B. cool colour scheme. The accent throw pillows and blankets are colours that coordinate with the paintings and have graphics that blend well together without being overpowering.

Add one of these colour schemes to your existing space for a fun pop of colour and a fresh update!

Recommended Benjamin Moore colours: A. Warm Colour Scheme: Wizard CC-966, Picante 006, Grape Juice 2074-10, Gull Wing Gray 2134-50. B. Cool Colour Scheme: City Shadow CSP-60, Pewter 2121-30, Cascade White 2127-70, Viking Yellow 321.
