Art consultant Amelia Eichholz, was featured as our Spread Of The Week on Sunday and her amazing taste caught my eye. I was really inspired by her art collection and how she decorated her home with bright colours pulled directly from the main piece of art on display in each room. This is a great way to keep a cohesive colour scheme throughout a space without overpowering your art.
I have selected these Uppermainland Limited Edition paintings by Jonathan Igharas as my jumping off point – these are great because they have so many colours to choose from! I paired these funky industrial brass pendant lights, hung in a series of three or more with a black marble top stainless steel coffee table. For the pop of colour I selected three brushed ceramic pots matching my Benjamin Moore colour recommendations: Salsa 2009-20, Key Largo Green 620 + Old Gold 167.
Do you think art is a great source of inspiration for decorating your spaces?
