A touch of Honey
Let’s warm it up baby! Wood tones are warming up this year with a little touch of honey. I for one am very excited! Honey toned woods are so versatile and timeless. They inject some warmth into a modern grey and white space and they offer balance and contrast to rich mahogany and cherry in more traditional interiors.
One of my favourite classics is this Wegner wishbone chair in a birch finish. We have some incredible reproductions in our showroom right now. I also love the idea of using this sculptural coffee table and end table in a modern space to offset grey and espresso wood. Another great way to warm up an interior is with a hyacinth basket in a honey tone. Pile in some throws as shown or stow away some odds and ends.
Make your honey toned woods pop by painting your walls with blue undertones. Benjamin Moore’s OC-52 Gray Owl is a soft blue-gray neutral that keeps the light pouring in. Cozy up one of your rooms with AF-700 Storm and add some impact with AF-565 Mysterious.
