Fashion and home decor trends go hand-in-hand, whatever is popular on the runway will quickly become popular in home decor. The Fall 2013 runway shows featured many strong, masculine trends and black leather head-to-toe was seen countless times.

Black leather used in home decor is often associated with bad shapeless recliner chairs and dated sofa’s, but there is an amazing variety of new furniture designs ranging from minimal modern to traditional styling. Black is always a strong grounding colour to add in any decor scheme in your home and this fashion trend is a great inspiration point to add one of our favourite pieces picked out below to your home.
